1983 - Wyoming
While working on my never-to-be-submitted M.A. thesis, I spent some time in a Wyoming ghost town which also contains corrals, barns and other buildings which are part of a ranch where I'd previously worked several times. By this time I had started to modify Diana cameras, particularly in terms of a closer focus. I would photograph 3 x 5" cards with various distances written on them in order to determine what the cameras could "see" as far as focus was concerned - usually the focus was fixed and limited to a narrow depth of field. The work in this group is the first result of these experiments.
